On Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 6pm to 9pm, we will be having a display table at the “World AIDS Day Kickoff Dinner” at the Doubletree Hotel. All are welcome to attend. There is a $25 suggested donation, but it is not a requirement. Please plan to attend and support our Community Partner – Capital City AIDS Network.
Clubhouse Start-up Work-Group Meetings are held on the first Tuesday and the third Thursday of each month.
8th Hill Start-Up Work-Group’s next meeting will beDecember 6, 6:00-7:30 p.m., E.C. Allen Christian Life Center (entrance on Duval Street), 2nd floor, classroom 5. There is parking in the church lot and on the street (no charge for on-street parking after 6:00 p.m.) Signs will be posted so people can find the room.
Please come with ideas for outreach and fundraising, and bring a friend!
At our meeting on December 15, 2011 we will be showing an amazing documentary following 4 members of one of the first Clubhouses and their progress and downfalls that occurs so often within the mental illness community. Please attend and bring a friend for them to get a better idea about Clubhouses.

Principles for Good Governance and Ethical Practice: A Guide for Charities and Foundations outlines 33 practices designed to support board members and staff leaders as they work to improve their operations.
